I bought the Tohatsu Sailpro 6 hp motor last year and am happy with it.

You can flush it using a hose.  The attatchment fits under the bottom of
the motor housing and you are supposed to tape over the intake on the
shaft.

It has an alternator and can be connected to your battery to keep them
charged.

I bought the 25" shaft.  You could go 20" depending on where your mount
is.........
