[Rhodes22-list] Propane Outboards

Can't say I've heard of a propane outboard.  Interesting concept.  I don't see anything on "fuel mileage" though. But guessing (based on propane = 92,500 btu/gal and gasoline = 125,000 btu/gal) that you could go about 75% as far on a gallon of propane vs. a gallon of gas.  - rob

I want to buy the new propane powered outboard.  Currently only a 5 hp is available. Supposedly a 10 hp is in the works. Instant start, no gummed carbs, no bad gas, cheaper fuel.  Still have to flush coolant though.
What do you guys think?
