Ron,Are you sure it has a leak? Because if there was a couple inches of water after three weeks with no bilge pump then it could be from rain. Has there been a lot of rain? The thing about a leak is that it will not stop so if you don't have a bilge pump I would think the water would have filled the bilge by now. Or it must be a very slow leak. Whenever there is heavy rain I will get an inch or two of water in my bilge. Where it comes from I have no idea but there are plenty of possibilities: hatches, ports, rub rail (hull to deck joint) genoa track and anywhere there are screws or bolts in the deck. I always check the through hulls because those are the obvious places to leak but you can visually inspect them and tell very easily. I just recently sealed the hull to deck joint with silicone but mine is a 1995 model so am not sure how old yours is. Have not had mine in the water since I sealed this but will know if it worked better this fall when I start sailing again (am in S. Georgia). Long time ago I had a leak and installed a bilge pump. It does give you peace of mind so I do recommend it. However, since my leak was fixed it has not run much. Good luck but again it could just be rain water...Bob K
