Yeah, I like this too.  The motor bracket on mine came broken to begin with and I was trying to figure out how to replace this.  this is a much cleaner install. - rob

Tom,

I see how that would help.  I only have a tiller/rudder interconnect point on the top of my motor, so, yes my motor is pretty deep in the water and the tiller arm is consequently a little hard to reach.
