[Rhodes22-list] Bow Chocks

Dear All,

I want to add a pair of chocks in the bow to prevent mooring lines chafing against the forestay strap. Anyone know if they should be way forward, adjacent to the strap or back between the bow pulpit stanchions? & do I need through bolts or will 1.25" screws in the deck be strong enough?
