JT: Thanks for the tip.  I have been using a Vitamin E that comes in a skin treatment bottle, and yes, it is soothing.  This plague is a real PIA.  Hopefully they will come up with a better way of treating it than that that exists today.

   Bob in Florida.. If you are still having trouble with the shingles
try cutting open a vitamin E softgel and put it on. Vitamin E is very
good for the skin.
