[Rhodes22-list] Big Splash Today - 1:00

Be listening for another signature Rhodes 22 Splash today around 1:00. Like
the Antares rocket I'm sure that it will be heard for several states
around. If you don't hear the splash listen for the big whoop of excitement
that I'll be letting go after she's floatin'

It's been the longest seven months of my life. Purchased in October 2012
I've just been waiting and reading and thinking and dreaming and even
working a bit on the Nauti Boat getting her ready for today.

After quite an adventure re-wiring the mast and installing an anchor light,
getting the mercury outboard serviced, removing and replacing the spreader
bolt (which was blocking the route of the mast wires) and a host of other
seemingly insignificant items on my to do list she is finally ready enough
to go in the water. Sunday I raised the mast (by myself!) and tuned and
tightened the standing rig.

The weather forecast around Thomas Point Light House on the Chesapeake is
looking pretty good today with wind of 10 mph. I plan to take her out for a
short sail and a bit of a motor about.

If you're in the area sail on by and we'll have a little impromptu race!
