[Rhodes22-list] Outhaul rigging questions

This season for the first time I'm having some trouble keeping clew down with reefed main. I may have put the outhaul car on the boom backwards, or run the lines incorrectly. Should the sheave on the car be near the mast or reverse? And do both arms of the outhaul line run through the sheave or just one? I know there have been photos published in years back, but I can't find them in my files.
