I use Navionics, Marine & Lakes:USA, both on iPhone & iPad.  The whole
package cost $15.  Anything more tends to distract me from sailing too much.

I know some of you have discussed this before.  My wife is going to be
getting an iPad for Christmas and I'd like to load on some navigational
software on it for use on the boat.  Any recommendations either for or
against a particular package?  I do not have a chart plotter to worry about.
