Thanks for the encouragement Art. My plan is,  since I am out of town until the new year,  if I don't hear from Stan I will start the layup of the centerboard. I am thinking about playing some plastic over the rudder, then sprayng it down thoroughly with expanding foam. Once that dries pull it off and do the same thing for the other side. 

Once I have molds of the two sides I can build them out of fiberglass. Then it seems like it would be a simple matter of bringing the twerp sides together and bonding them together with fiberglass. There is a flat edge on the centerboard that I plan on leaving open to allow me to fill it once the shoes are joined. I can pour in the lead and epoxy in layers to make sure I get a good full with no cavities.
