Sorry, clicked the corrected word for spell check twice accidentally and the send button on Yahoo Mail happened to be right under where the correct word used to be on the first click :P

I would love to visit Washington DC because most of my family lives in the Fredericksburg / Spotsylvania area now.  But, we are actually down in Austin Texas visiting my wife's family.  Wish the boat and tools were here to work on as well because it's near 80 degrees outside here.

You say you are out if town until after the new year. Will you be anywhere near Washington DC?

I am thinking about playing some plastic over the rudder, then sprayng it down thoroughly with expanding foam. Once that dries pull it off and do the same thing for the other side. 

Once I have molds of the two sides I can build them out of fiberglass. Then it seems like it would be a simple matter of bringing the twerp sides together and bonding them together with fiberglass. There is a flat edge on the centerboard that I plan on leaving open to allow me to fill it once the shoes are joined. I can pour in the lead and epoxy in layers to make sure I get a good full with no cavities.
