Well before the trip be sure the bearings on trailer are well
lubricated.Small grease gun to check along the way as seals may or may not
be solid.. Be sure to get marine variety grease for wheels.
Spare trailer tire optional.. But a jack that will lift trailer with boat on
it at a minimum..lug wrench
Boat should be tied down in Front as well as back . A frontal collision will
send the boat forward.
If spending the night on road consider a lock for the trailer tongue.


As for what to have on board the list is endless.. But how about some tools
?
Spare pins and cotter pins. Think of the stuff that if it was lost or
dropped overboard would leave you in a fix..Perhaps spare fuel line.. A lot
of people keep a nerf football to plug a hole in unlikely event..
A couple of stainless hose clamps and some duct tape or something waterproof
for hose leaks..I always have a spare anchor and anchor line.. You never
know...
