Bruce,
Captain Bob Keller had an autopilot on his R22 Yankee Clipper. Searching
the archives with this information may get you what you need including
photo's.

I am purchasing a Raymarine ST1000 for a new R22 that will replace my
storm damaged model. My last boat did not have one but I have been persuaded
of its value. I had a recollection from old posts that installation
requires a couple of extensions and other parts that do not come with the
package. I found an old post of Roger's but do not know if those instructions
are still valid. Has anyone installed the auto-tiller recently who has
addressed this?
