James how do you like the Awlgrip materials on the hull? Would you use it again? I am just preparing the hull for that material and would love to hear your thoughts.
Sincerely,

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Shrink-Wrap on Awlgrip
Most of the marinas I have been checking out on the mid-Maine coast definitely perform a slightly different shrink-wrap procedure for boats
refinished with Awlgrip (and charge more money to do it). The assertion
is that the plastic can cause damage to the Awlgrip paint surface... I
don't know the exact mechanism. They put additional protection between
the shrink-wrap and the paint to prevent direct contact and lifting-off.
Kind regards,
James Cross
