[Rhodes22-list] Replacement Cooler

I found a large plastic foam-filled cooler that fits perfectly on the floor
right in front of and below the companion way. I used hot glue to attach
strips of teak to the top. It makes for huge capacity, provides for a very
large and stable step without having to step on the bunk, frees space under
the counter for other storage and is as cheap as one could imagine. To my
surprise the teak strips are still firmly attached after 15 years. The teak
is not necessary of course - it just looks more nautical and spreads the
weight across the top when stepped on. Being top filled access while heeling
is not a problem. 
I can send a picture of the cooler as well as dimensions if anyone is
interested but not a picture of it in the boat as at this point everything
inside the boat has been removed.
