Hi Graham,
Our pendant originally had only one block. It is now direct lift. We
have the "diamond board" so the pendant may attach in a different
place making the direct lift angles different. I've attached a photo
of ours with the board overexstended. The boat was up on our marina's
travelift for bottom painting. You can see where it attaches. It is
not too heavy to lift and actually moves much more smoothly. Not sure
if it would be different with the original centerboard design but the
original centerboard is about the same size and shape as the rudder
so it should weigh about the same.
