[Rhodes22-list] Remote Control

I had the old system and loved it as well but lost that motor in a storm last year. I like the new remote control so far - limited usage so I'll let you know. The installation challenge was the cables. The Yamaha dealer I worked with put a piece of starboard between the motor and the mount to add another 3/4 inch for the cables to make the bend and clear the lift rails when turning/raising/lowering. Not perfect but seems to work. The other pain is that the new Yamaha I selected doesn't have a mechanism to lock the motor on center when not attached to the tiller. I'm going to have to fabricate something to be able to drop a pin into a bracket to hold it in place.

I'll send some better pictures this weekend if it stops raining.
