[Rhodes22-list] Gel Coat Cracks

Here is a link to a product called "Crack Cure Sealant" :
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId
=10001&storeId=11151&partNumber=243990&langId=-1#.UbNJkJx_Z1A. I have only
used this product once on a few minor cracks. I can't tell you how well it
worked because I decided to grind out the cracks and repair with cloth,
epoxy and filler since I decided that I would paint the entire deck anyway
and should not skimp on the repair. Others who have used it would have
better advice about how well it works. I suspect that it would be a
temporary fix but might serve to keep water out of the crack and minimize
further damage and spread of the cracks until you can get it repaired
properly.

I wonder if I need to haul the boat back to Stan and have it repaired?
