[Rhodes22-list] Depth gage or what?

I've got this device in my laz and have no idea what it is.  I'm guessing it's the sensor for a depth gage, but there is no depth gage on the boat.

First photo shows a device next to its mounting well (I assume).  Second photo a second device also found in the laz.  Third photo shows bottom of boat where mounting well is located.  And lastly, the fourth photo shows a loose piece that I found in the laz.  Appears to be something that would fit into the well, the while part is threaded and screws onto something else.   Thoughts?  Thanks - rob
