I have a standard motor and at 6-0 tall I almost have to stand on my head to operate the shift. The throttle is a little bit easier. The Admiral is also 5-0 and 100# and no she cannot reach it. I do not want to relay all of the problems and other boats I have crashed into while standing on my head ..... Whatever it takes, GET A SHIFT AND THROTTLE ATTACHED TO THE TILLER. If you can not wait for this in a propane model motor, then get a gasoline model. Long term, you will be much happier.
Just one man's perspective
