Nope. I used to, until it was pointed out to me that Stan sends them out of the factory with the motor on the boat. Someone just posted a photo of John's new boat on the way from NC to Seattle. A strap around the motor to help support it might be advised. I go about 20 miles now and gave up removing the motor a couple of years ago. - rob

I had a guy tell me never to pull my boat with the out board still mounted to my boat. It would rip the mount off during the drive. I only have to go about 10 miles to the nearest ramp. Is it really nessesary for me to unmount the motor everytime I take my boat to the ramp?
