[Rhodes22-list] My homegrown mast raiser worked - woohoo! - video

So I put together mast raising system using stuff around my barn. I did buy
an expensive (around 50) winch from Northern tool, probably overkill for
this application but such superb device made in US. Winds were 10 to 20 on
the beam when I did this test.

Next step try the sails (this old boat is new to me) and then replace 2
chainplates. Hopefully will launch before July.   -- Steve Raye
