Am I correct that the seats being discussed do not fasten down and would not
replace the seats the GB installs on the cockpit ?

And I can vouch that the GB seats are of much better quality than the West
Marine.

Art's report on West's off-brand seats without Sunbrella fabric and 
inferior metal mechanism (the last time I saw them) and Marlan's 
pleasure with his two lower cost GB seats. offers an opening to announce 
that there are still some of the good ones left in Elton's small 
remaining inventory.
