It's a wrap.  With the blast from a cannon at 5:30 on Monday the 44th annual Annapolis Sailboat Show came to an end.  What lasted for 5 days quickly disappeared within hours with the show breakdown.  Hundreds of locals line the Annapolis harbor year after year to watch this spectacle.  The excitement that comes with being surrounded by all these toys, hanging out with Rhodies, and meeting lots of good people is followed by the deflation that comes when it all disappears.  Kind of like the day after Christmas.
Not to mention that the sailing season is soon coming to an end.  On the other hand,  there are lots of soon to be new Rhodies who are really getting revved up about getting a Rhodes and we all  know that feeling.  Personally I really had a good time and can't wait "til next year.
