That is helpful. In future I will not try to bring the boat forward as I was
in the past. In reality, I seldom trailer the boat except to take it to the
ramp about 4 miles away and for winter storage so I will try to find a
comfortable place for it and hope I can avoid the deformation. I gather that
has not been a problem for you. What year is your boat?

My adjustable bow stop is somewhere between 10-14." When I look at the
bunks, the 2x6's curve perfectly with the hull shape. I actually dread the
day I have to replace the bunks due to trying to replicate the curve. I
already have to replace one of the
Due to my crappy ramp (16' to end of ramp at low tide, and extremely steep),
I typically end up with a neutral or negative tongue weight, but when i can
get the boat on the trailer decently, the tongue weight is only about
50-75lbs or so.
I have no better suggestions, the boat just always seems to sit right on the
bunks for me.
