Since it's interior I would go with whatever looks best to you. I have had
both. Inside there is practically no wear so maintenance not a big deal.
Maybe try a test piece with a couple finishes and see what you like. On my
last boat I used oil and sometimes orange oil to clean and give a good
smell. Nice find on the wood!
