Yes. Yes. Yes. I have been contemplating upgrading to a roller furling that I can switch head sails without taking the mast down (similar to what I read from Mary Lou). I will be very curious to see the General Boat's version.

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] new GB genoa furling system
Dear Rhodies:
It is restless time at general boats so we have been tinkering with a
different kind of headsail furling system. The inspiration has been the
popularity of the 130% genoa joined to the reluctance to give up a 175
for those times "when it would be nice to have one".
So the goals are:
Headsails can be changed without taking down the mast.
Headsails can be changed under way easier than any other currently
available system.
The package can be readily shipped via UPS, USPS or FedEx.
It can go onto a Rhodes' stay with nothing at all being done to the
existing stay.
So simple to install even at his age Rummy can it , with only a used #2
philips head screw driver.
Price: Priceless. At least for now but based on our previous
"inventions", half our cost.
before we go through the mandatory R&D, we wanted feedback on whether we
should be disturbing the Rhodes perfect design.
