Just email Mike Orr at Triad Trailers N.C. He makes the trailers for Stan.
My conversations with Mike suggest he only installs the surge brakes.
My vote would be for the standard 4 pin system. Adaptors can be bought
at the most basic retailer with auto or trailer stuff like oil, bulbs,
wiper blades.
