Bob,
My T 8 is so old that it's a 2 stroker, thus the weight difference. I have
the 20 inch shaft. I'm really glad the new medication is working for you
and you are going to continue sailing.

Rummy: Lucked into a newly approved oral medication for my leukemia -
approved on Feb 12th and I started on Feb 20th. Doing so well toward a
remission we pulled the for sale ad. We want to sail more!

Just ordered the new traveler! {:>)

BTW how long is the shaft on the T 8? I really like the weight compared
to the Y9.9's 98#.

Cheers and Thanks for You Positive Thoughts on my CLL Fight!

should have stored the first R22 as five years later we sold the T37 and
needed another R22. I fitted both with the Yamaha 9.9 long shaft high thrust

engines. Why? While over kill, the few times a year we head out into the
Atlantic, it is nice to have the power to fight the tides into and out of
the inlets. Also a few times caught out in an unexpected thunder storm on
the inter coastal or on the St. Lucie River we needed the power to get home
or to a place of refuge.

My point, I learned to sail on boats without motors. I hate them! But
when you need them...
