Cary,

The diamond board model is a structural change from prior models.  For his
speculative refurbishing business, Stan only buys back the diamond board
boats.

Stan will probably do whatever you want to your center board boat.  But if
you really want the diamond board because you trailer or beach your boat a
lot, it will be more cost effective to just buy an already "recycled" boat.
