[Rhodes22-list] Topping lift line

I have been fighting the topping lift conflict with the pop top long enough. I do not believe mine is rigid like anyone else's or there would be unrest within the fleet. Can someone please tell me how their topping lift comes down from the masthead to the cockpit; mine rubs the pop top and makes raising / lowering the pop top a royal PITA.
