The hose segment needed was 16" long.  Placed two stainless hose clamps on hose prior to threading line through. Fiberglass had a cut out to allow a small ratchet access to tighten the upper clamp to the through hull. ( Thanks Stan!) My three year old supervised.  Job rating was: easy and takes 15 min.... 30 minutes with a three year old supervising due to the question...Why?
