I agree; I too have had several poorly crimped connectors on my 2003 Rhodes. Don Simons

Bob,
Knot knowing the age of the connections I would start with the battery
terminals, remove and replace with soldered connections. Then move up the wire
and replace all the existing connections with soldered connectors and wire
brush the terminals they connect to and then coat each and every one with
liquid plastic. This will give you an almost permanent solution to your
problem.........hopefully.
Rummy
PS Also look for any section of wire that might have a bad crimp in it.

Really ned some help here. Got the boat rigged and was checking all the
moving parts only to find the motor lift inoperative. Called Stan and he
sent me a new switch, which turned out not to be the problem. Began by
tracing the power. batteries both check ok, 13+ volts. Lazarette terminals
check good power. when checking the switch wires from the lazarette to the
up/down rocker switch at the switch end, got fluctuating voltage ( all over
the place). lift motor works fine when hooked to separate battery. Stan
is mulling it over, but we idon’thave an answer yet. Any Ideas? Feel free
to call. Thanks
