    Brooks,
Your note caught my eye re. serious cruising.  I would suggest you take a serious look at some form of Boomroom, which I make and Stan can obtain also, I understand.  The convenience and comforts transform our R22 into a much more comfortable sailing experience in many ways I can suggest.  Bob Keller, of former Rhoadie fame, expanded much on this in the archives.

Hi Mary LouThanks for additional info - stashed away.My anchoring technique is similar, tugs to start it setting about 1/3 out, another set of tugs about 2/3, then hard. Whenever I've done this, noproblems. I'm slowly converting to keeping the whole package together. Ithink the Fortress would make it doable. And meets my FOOL proofrequirement.Yes, plan to do some serious cruising and yes, we've got a wonderful areawithin about 13 nm. And I used to like Little Choptank but disgusted at howdeveloped Hudson Creek has become. Just 7 or 8 years ago much better. Also bought a 1/3 share in a truck so can tow up near your area and downsouth and save two days getting there and back in boat - I'm still goingwith trolling motor - we'll see. Got totally sick of motoring a few yearsago. Love my always full "gas tank" with the panels.Had a wonderful sail up the Chester R 6 years ago - looks like Englishcountryside. Now, to do the first cruise before the steamy weather.Regards,-----Brooks Bridges1986, Recycled 2006 "Changes"Cambridge, MD--View this message in context: http://rhodes-22.1065344.n5.nabble.com/Leave-Bimini-up-Anchor-rode-rope-to-chain-connection-IMF-Main-storage-tp50249p50275.htmlSent from the Rhodes 22 mailing list archive at Nabble.com.__________________________________________________To subscribe/unsubscribe go to http://www.rhodes22.org/mailman/listinfo/rhodes22-listFor the list Charter and help with using the mailing list and archives go to http://www.rhodes22.org/list__________________________________________________
