I believe 1/4 inch is thread diameter.  The other number is pitch, number
of threads per inch.  20 coarse or 28 fine for 1/4" seems to be the common
pitches.  I think you are looking for set screw, like the flat ones here at
mcmastercarr.  Shipping might be more than the parts.
