[Rhodes22-list] Diamond Board Trunk Cap Gasket

[The Rhodes 22 Email List]

Has anyone tired to use a piece of long stainless steel as a washer instead of just washers with nuts and bolts?  The stainless would be about one and fourth in wide and long enough to cover one side of cap.  You would need two.

I am in the process of redoing my cap.
