You folks are awesome! Thanks so much as there is lots of good info here.
I wish I had taken better pictures of the boat on the trailer. From the
couple that I have, it looks like the aft port is slightly forward of the
axle, despite the ability to move the boat even further forward...should one
desire, by collapsing the v cushion arm even more forward. I think I
noticed in Alex's photo that his v cushion arm is slid forward already. So
that's kinda strange. So I'm thinking, for whatever reason, that I should
try loading it with the port over the axle this fall. Maybe our bow
uprights are slightly different??

I'm thinking there was abouts 500lbs on the tonque, and yes my trailer
swivel need replacement. Also I have a new 9.9 Susuki with all options
hanging off the back...heavy motor. But not much gear in the boat.
I found a pretty cool way to mount the engine controls under the port
cockpit seat and could share my autopilot installation, if anybody is
interested.
