Hi Peter. Nice video. I really enjoyed seeing your boat and comparing it to
my recently recycled 1998. Not many differences, but a few small ones. I
wanted to mention one thing. You said you were pretty sure your two
batteries were not both wired together and that you had a house battery and
an engine battery. You might want to check that. I have two batteries and a
switch with off, 1, 2, both, settings. But the one thing I discovered that
Stan failed to do is separate the batteries. Both are either off or on,
regardless of which of the 1, 2 or both settings I use. I could not access
the wiring well enough to consider trying to change this, so I'll just live
with it for now. I do know that I can hand crank the motor lift up and down
and manually start the engine if I have to.
