[Rhodes22-list] CB pendant length

Hi Graham
My blocks were not new but they were in good condition and free wheelin'
Next time I'm out I'll have a look with a mask. It was never easy to retract the CB - always a tug.

The board is heavier when in a lift than when in the water but even so it was a heavy lift - certainly more than my wife could lift or I would care to lift. My board weighs 80 pounds and most of that weight appears to be at the end where you would expect it to be. The attachment point for the line is about 1/3 of the way along the back edge. I figure that using that point of attachment would double the force needed to lift the board. That makes the board very heavy if you only use the one block and use the existing attachment point.
>>
>> The alternative might be to move the attachment point to the end of the board but that would mean it was dragging down low and aside from the friction and turbulence that would create, it would be very vulnerable to getting caught in weeds. Even then you are lifting about 35 pounds. I decided to stick with the original design.
