I had similar issues on my 1981 CB slot. I decided to cut them out and take
them home, re epoxy around then re install. It was a scary job!
I also added garolite 1/4 panels to my flange and cap because my '81 had
been degraded to a very thin and flexible flange and cap which made leaks
more prevalent.
I like the way you gelcoated the cap and trunk.

I believe I have a firm buyer for MIRACLES today as I prepare to leave the
ranks of Rhodes22 owners I have only good things to say about this list and
the many R22 owners who contribute their info and ideas.
I adapted John Locke's traveler and of course anyone around from 2004-2008
knows that Roger Pihlaja helped me immensely as I re constructed my CB
trunk, flange and board mechanism.
