Correct, they share the same engine...I guess the information I had hoped to share in my comment was that there's some conversation that the Jeep GC EcoDiesel has a "softer" tow package. I can see how this could be true as a trucks suspension is designed to carry more weight back there. Forgive me if I confused anyone with my comments. I used to tow with my '05 Jeep Liberty CRD's (which did the trick also)!
