[Rhodes22-list] Water in the cabin

Fred and I brainstormed. Boat not level, water over the lip of the
lazarette opening, split in seat drain hose(s), leak around hinge, leak
around gas boot, wind-driven rain driving rain under lazarette hatch,
blockage in cockpit and/or seat drains, leak around mast wiring
connector bases (collects in the light cover - need to be persistnet to
fix it), leaks around the fixed or opening ports, leaks around the
chainplates (these do need to be rebedded occasionally, leaks at the
rubrail (generally not rain related, mostly underway when heeled), leak
in the sink drain hose (leak when you use the sink or underway when
heeled.) We didn't have below the water thruhulls but those are also
possibilities.
Suggestion. Hire a 10 year-old for the lazarette with a bonus if you
find the leak.
Happy hunting and happy new year.
