[Rhodes22-list] Rub Rails

I plan to replace the rub rails on Respite. Does anyone have knowledge about
the pros/cons of Vinyl vs. PVC? I can only find Vinyl in 20 ft. lengths but
PVC in what ever length I want. All of the installation videos available are
for vinyl installations. Is PVC more difficult to handle? Is it sturdier?
Any comments would be appreciated.
