I can confirm it’s working!

I sailed a week ago, for the first time single handed, including the docking part, which scared me a bit, but it went great. It was probably the best sail I ever did!

I saw someone on Facebook who talked about a Tiller Clutch. This thing looks great so I ordered one. http://www.wavefrontmarine.com/

I built frames for the cockpit shelves. I am attaching a picture. I made them of cedar wood, stained with red mahogany stain, and varnished with polyurethane varnish. I am planning on installing them this weekend.

The list seems to be working. I guess no one is feeling very chatty lately.

The weather we’ve been having in Connecticut this spring isn’t helping me get my boat projects done. It seems likely that once again the boat won’t be in the water until June.
