[Rhodes22-list] Heading to Italy

Well it is that time of year for us.  The Rhodes (Enosis I or "E1" for
short) is currently hibernating on a mountainside on the Island of Ischia
in the Bay of Naples. I should be there at the end of May and set to work
on it.  Nothing major, replace the faucet and pump and a couple other
things then get customs to do their thing and re issue me a new Temporary
Import permit that should be good for 18 months.  Then Alice should join me
the end of the first week of June.  From there it will be Capri, Positano,
Salarno, and points south along the coast until we get to Sicily.  We hope
to spend a couple of weeks exploring Sicily before jumping "Toe" to "heel"
and then across the Adriatic to Montenegro or Croatia.  We should spend a
month or 6 weeks there before heading south to leave the boat in Montenegro
or possibly Albania.  On the other hand if I truly get the full 18 months
on the permit then I will probably leave the boat in Croatia as long as it
isn't too expensive. So that is the plan.  Should be fun.  I think the
distance is about the same, maybe a bit longer than last year's trip with
E1 from Barcelona to Naples.  I will keep a journal as I did last time and
send it off to the list as time allows. For newbies to the list, If you
