I think it would be great to see a joint effort of some sort succeed.  I have no idea how that would work, but having more than one shop to work on our boats would be a real boost to the brand.  Sort of an authorized dealership type of deal.  Stan has long ask for a partner to work with.  Maybe this is how that starts.  I'm looking forward to see how this plays out. - rob

I have three Rhodes 22 boats in various levels of restoration that are currently available to purchase as is that will require some additional restoration work to complete.  I am suggesting and promoting a joint effort by Gustavo who works with me and has done the boat restoration on these boats to date and Calvin of GB who has been working with Stan for a number of years doing boat restoration for GB.  This joint effort could be a win for all - win for me to sell three of my boats, win for GB to have some additional revenue and collaboration, win for the R22 community to have potential sources of support now and in the future.  This idea and suggestion would require positive support by Gustavo, Calvin, and Stan.

Boat 01: $20k as with a suggested budget by the purchase of $10k to complete the restoration.  This was Lee's boat he sold to Susan who i purchased it from and Gustavo has completed a partial restoration with new centerboard gasket and seal, refurbished hull inside and out, all new interior carpentry and finishes, new sink and pump and holding tank, new electric jabsco head and holding tak, all new hoses, new bidge pump, all new electrical wiring and electrical components including marine radio an navigation, all new sails from Doyle, all new exterior hardware, new west marine standard motor lift, outboard motor and more.  What is left to complete is to paint the deck, replace the windows and assemble the hardware.  Lee has first dibs on this boat.

Boat 02: $10k as is with a suggested budget by the purchase of $20k to complete the restoration.  This is a 1980's vintage R22 ready for restoration.

Boat 03:  $30k as is with a suggested budget by the purchaser of $10k to complete the restoration.  This was Ellies boat that i purchased from her that has a pedestal wheel and steering mechanism.  The current restoration includes a complete refurbishing of the hull and deck inside an out, all new interior, all new exterior hardware, new standing rigging by dwyer, new sails by doyle, new pedestal compass, new marine electronics including navigation and radio, electric windless, LED navigation and interior lights. 
Restoration work left to complete includes some interior carpentry work.
