[Rhodes22-list] Motor lift

Chris,

It is an impressive piece of engineering. How well protected from salt spray
and intrusion are the motors? It appears that the lift is provided by twin
lead screw devices. Is it difficult to maintain identical motion between the
two? Do they synchronize when in the full up or down position? What is the
current draw for the system? Who manufactures the system? I couldn't find it
on the West Marine site.

Now, the big question, "What is the system cost?"

Below is a link to a video showing a standard west marine lift with electric
arms, the switch is a toggle rather than on off to prevent over-ride.
