Roger, I can't agree with you more. I put Respite up for sale and I had a buyer in 15 minutes. I have not seen a Rhodes on The List for more than I asked. I made improvements, good care of her and performed maintenance regularly. (see my announcement and Respite Is For Sale, December 2022) I sent out a PDF flyer to interested parties. (See below)https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/review?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:de5ed0d5-6e9c-38a6-ae66-39cae05173e2The buyer had been looking for almost a year for a R22. I sent the flyer and he offered a deposit before seeing the boat! I sold it TOO CHEAP! He got a great boat at a great price! WIN-WIN! When GBI is selling a re-cycled R22 fo $55K +/-, why folks want to give their Rhodes away is beyond me! $1500 and the "interior needs 'some' TLC"? You're probably turning an intelligent buyer away.Just sayin'!Joe Dempsey m/v VoyagerTrojan 42Ex-Rhodes 22s/v RespiteDeltaville, VASent via the Samsung Galaxy S22 5G, an AT&T 5G smartphone

I just finished my biannual inventory for my stated value insurance coverage policy. I have over K$18 in sails, rigging, GPS, and other gear alone, not including the boat, motor, and trailer! But, that’s replacement value. I guess the entire package is only worth what the market will bear. You would think sailboats would be worth more in this time of high gasoline prices. Sailing and paddle sports may be the only maritime leisure activities that common, ordinary folks will be able to afford in a few years.Roger PihlajaS/V Dynamic EquilibriumSent from Mail<https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=550986> for WindowsFrom: Mark Olson via Rhodes22-list<mailto:rhodes22-list at rhodes22.org>Sent: Saturday, March 11, 2023 1:12 PMTo: The Rhodes 22 Email List<mailto:rhodes22-list at rhodes22.org>Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Selling my 1983 RhodesSelling my 1983 Rhodes.
