Hi Peter,

The line size sounds about right. The blocks are too small. I’ve had good luck with Harken Bullet Blocks.

I was expecting to find a tangled mess, but to my surprise things looked pretty good (except for the dead fish). Upon closer inspection I find that the blocks on the centerboard seems to be a tad small for the diameter line running through them. The blocks attached to the centerboard seem to be about 5mm (or 3/16"), while the blocks on the centerboard cap look to be about 8mm (or 1/4"). The line measures about 7-8mm and maybe a tad swollen down near the blocks (under the water line). It's pretty hard to get the line to run through the smaller blocks and I can find nothing else that might be fouling the centerboard, sooo: what size line is supposed to be used for controlling the centerboard?
