[Rhodes22-list] IMF furling line specs

I have the same question, and agree Peter’s video is great - I need to replace mine on my ‘86 R22 as well - the previous owner used an old piece of fuzzy 3/8“ which is too thick - I was going to try 1/4” unless Peter or anyone here thinks 5/16” is better. I have a note here that the length should be the boom length + 6 feet but not sure where I go that from.
I like the paracord-like (1/4”?) line that Stan put on my 2014 Rhodes when it was new but I’m not sure if it’s paracord.
